Our cooking Japanese home cooking and sushi making classes ( 31 January – 14 March ) were hugely popular and successful. Participants enjoyed “hands on” instruction by top chefs. Each class was different and all were full of positive energy, curious questions and lots of smiles.

Here are some comments from the participants:

“Very sociable. Highly interactive. Plenty of insight into Japan’s culture.”
Manish

“I realised that, with the right ingredients and techniques, it can be quite easy and quick to prepare.”
Amina

“The classes demystify Japanese cooking. They are very well organised. The facility is superb and Akiko is an attentive host. All this creates a relaxed atmosphere benefiting the group. Participants were also very diverse and friendly.”
Veronique

“Well planned, delivered, and authentic.”
Jamshid

“Very hands on and interactive. Fun and educational. Got to meet new people, cook with them and share the meal at the end. Lovely experience start to finish.”
Mimi

“There seems to be rather more tension around race in the last few years and it’s causing people to be hostile. Classes like this help people to bond together around a common interest in this case cooking :)”
Alice

We are sorry that, because our resources are limited, we had to turn down many people who wanted to join the classes. However we hope we will be able to come back soon.
